- Add chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, turmeric, cumin, and salt to a food processor.
- Blend until mixture starts to become smooth, scraping sides as needed.
- With processor running, drizzle in olive oil.
- Add cold water gradually until hummus reaches desired creamy consistency.
- Blend for 1–2 additional minutes until light and fluffy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then serve.
Notes
For extra smooth hummus, peel chickpea skins before blending.
