Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 2 red onions thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp ground sumac
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 3 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 0.5 tsp salt to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 cup parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Thinly slice the red onions and place in a bowl.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and gently massage to soften.
  3. Add sumac, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  4. Toss until evenly coated.
  5. Fold in chopped parsley.
  6. Rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served fresh. Adjust lemon and salt to taste.
