Ingredients
  

Salad
  • 3 cups green cabbage shredded
  • 2 cups red cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup carrots julienned
  • 1 red bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 3 scallions sliced
  • 0.25 cup cilantro chopped
Dressing
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp neutral oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 clove garlic minced
Crunch Toppings
  • 0.5 cup toasted almonds sliced
  • 1 cup wonton strips
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds toasted

Method
 

  1. Combine shredded cabbage, carrots, bell pepper, scallions, and cilantro in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, neutral oil, ginger, and garlic until smooth.
  3. Pour dressing over the salad and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Add almonds, wonton strips, and sesame seeds just before serving.
  5. Serve immediately or chill briefly for best flavor.
