Ingredients
  

Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground chicken or beef
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1 egg large
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp milk
Firecracker Sauce
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.33 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp sriracha adjust to taste
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, spices, salt, pepper, and milk in a bowl.
  3. Roll into 1½-inch meatballs and place on baking sheet.
  4. Bake 15–18 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Whisk all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  6. Toss baked meatballs in sauce over medium heat.
  7. Simmer 2–3 minutes until thick and glossy.
  8. Garnish and serve hot.

Notes

Adjust spice level by increasing or decreasing sriracha. Great for sliders, bowls, or appetizers.
