Ingredients
  

Bread Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1.25 cups warm water 105–110°F
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary chopped

Method
 

  1. Mix flour, salt, and yeast in a large bowl.
  2. Add warm water and stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Fold in cheddar cheese and rosemary.
  4. Cover and let rise at room temperature for 12–18 hours.
  5. Preheat oven to 450°F with Dutch oven inside.
  6. Shape dough gently and transfer to hot Dutch oven.
  7. Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncovered for 15 minutes.
  8. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

For best results, allow full fermentation time and use freshly grated cheese.
