Ingredients
  

Coffee Base
  • 2 cups strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg
  • 0.25 tsp cloves
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream whipped

Method
 

  1. Brew strong coffee or espresso and set aside.
  2. Heat milk, sugar, molasses, spices, and vanilla in a saucepan over low heat.
  3. Whisk until smooth and fragrant, do not boil.
  4. Whip cream lightly until thick but pourable.
  5. Pour gingerbread milk into mugs.
  6. Slowly layer coffee on top using a spoon.
  7. Top with whipped cream and garnish.

Notes

For dairy-free, use oat milk and coconut cream.
