Ingredients
  

Cherry Cinnamon Syrup
  • 1 cup cherries pitted
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.25 cup sugar or honey to taste
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
Latte Base
  • 1 cup espresso or strong coffee cooled
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Fine mesh strainer
  • Blender
  • Coffee maker or espresso machine

Method
 

  1. Simmer cherries, water, and sugar for 8–10 minutes until softened.
  2. Blend and strain the syrup. Stir in cinnamon. Let cool.
  3. Brew espresso or strong coffee and cool completely.
  4. Fill two glasses with ice and add cherry cinnamon syrup.
  5. Pour in coffee, then top with milk.
  6. Stir gently and garnish as desired.

Notes

Adjust sweetness and spice to taste. Store syrup refrigerated up to 1 week.
