Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13 pan with parchment.
- Whisk melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt to form dough.
- Press two-thirds of dough into prepared pan.
- Spread caramel over base and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Drop remaining dough on top and gently spread.
- Bake 30–35 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
For extra gooey texture, slightly underbake and cool fully before cutting.
