Garlic Butter Lobster

Tender lobster meat basted in rich garlic butter and finished with lemon and herbs.

Main
  • 2 lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Kitchen shears
  • Small saucepan
  • Baking sheet
  • Oven or broiler

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven broiler on high.
  2. Cut lobster shells and lift meat slightly out of shell.
  3. Melt butter with garlic over low heat until fragrant.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and remove from heat.
  5. Spoon garlic butter over lobster.
  6. Broil 8–10 minutes until opaque and tender.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Avoid overcooking lobster to keep it tender.
