Ingredients
  

Pastry
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.33 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup strawberries finely chopped
  • 1 egg beaten

Equipment

  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry and cut into equal squares.
  3. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Place filling and strawberries in center of each square.
  5. Shape into hearts and brush edges with egg wash.
  6. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed.

Notes

Best served warm and dusted with powdered sugar.
