Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 2.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg large
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
Glaze
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3-4 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients until dough forms.
  6. Chill dough 30 minutes, then roll and cut into bunny shapes.
  7. Bake 9–11 minutes until just set. Cool completely.
  8. Whisk glaze ingredients and decorate cookies.

Notes

Use gel food coloring for vibrant pastel glazes.
