Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz penne pasta
Chicken & Sauce
  • 2 chicken breasts sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Pasta pot
  • Wooden spoon
  • Strainer

Method
 

  1. Boil penne in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. Season chicken and sear in olive oil until golden and cooked through.
  3. Melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add cream and broth. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in Parmesan and seasonings.
  6. Add pasta and chicken. Toss well.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.
