Ingredients
  

Pasta & Chicken
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
Creamy Garlic Sauce
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Pasta pot
  • Colander
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Cook penne pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add cream and broth. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in Parmesan and seasonings until smooth.
  6. Return chicken and add pasta. Toss to coat.
  7. Adjust with pasta water if needed. Garnish and serve.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and texture.
