Ingredients
  

Egg Base
  • 12 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 1.5 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
Decorations
  • 0.25 cup fresh dill chopped
  • 0.25 cup pomegranate arils
  • 0.25 cup red bell pepper finely diced
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese cut into stars

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Boil eggs, cool in ice bath, and peel.
  2. Slice eggs in half and remove yolks.
  3. Mix yolks with mayo, mustard, vinegar, and seasonings.
  4. Pipe filling into egg whites using star tip.
  5. Shape filling into tall tree-like swirls.
  6. Decorate with dill, pomegranate, pepper, and cheese stars.

Notes

Add garnishes just before serving for best color and texture.
