Ingredients
  

Burger Patties
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
Toppings & Assembly
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup marinara sauce
  • 16-20 slices pepperoni
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter for toasting buns

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Divide meat into 4 portions and shape into burger patties.
  3. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and lightly oil it.
  4. Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  5. Top each patty with marinara sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. Cover briefly to melt cheese.
  6. Toast buns with butter or oil until golden.
  7. Assemble burgers with cheesy pepperoni patties on toasted buns and serve hot.
