Ingredients
  

Stuffed Pork Chops
  • 4 thick-cut pork chops bone-in preferred
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • 0.5 tsp dried sage
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 egg beaten

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in butter and oil until soft.
  3. Mix sautéed vegetables with breadcrumbs, herbs, cheese, broth, and egg.
  4. Cut a pocket into each pork chop and fill with stuffing.
  5. Season chops and sear 2–3 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer to oven and bake 20–25 minutes until done.
  7. Rest 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use thick pork chops for best results. Let rest before slicing.
