Main
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional

  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until opaque. Remove and set aside.
  4. Lower heat, add remaining butter and garlic. Cook 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in lemon juice, zest, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Return shrimp to skillet and toss to coat.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
