Today, I am 33 weeks along and the baby is the size of one of my favorite fruits, a pineapple! He is gaining a lot of weight and preparing for his entrance in to the world! According to my doctor he is head down, so that is good. He has a nice strong heartbeat, and the past few days he has been so active, I love it. He won’t kick for his Nouna (Godmother) though.

How far along?: 33 weeks 4 days.
This is what he sort of looks like, via babycenter.com:
Total weight gain/loss: I am up 2 more pounds from last week, which puts my total at +19. I think I am going to be one of those women who gains IT ALL in the last trimester. Luckily, it seems to be all in my belly. At least that’s what everyone tells me.
The Bump: I took this photo at my in-laws over the weekend, so it’s not great, but I do what I can.
What I’m excited about/looking forward to: I don’t know what I am excited about. I am still anxiously awaiting the furniture. Nick and I NEED to at least get a bassinet this weekend. I need to feel like we are at least making progress somewhere.
Maternity Clothes: It’s a good thing I am not really working right now because the weather, plus the humidity is insane. I stay inside with the AC and tanks & shorts. When I go out I stick to leggings, long tanks, and dresses.
Symptoms: I am becoming more and more achy as the days rack up. In the middle of the night I have gotten many charlie horses…not fun. I also find it hard to get really comfortable for long periods of time, whether it be sitting or lying down.
Labor Signs: Nothing yet.
Belly Button in or out?: Surprisingly still an inny. I don’t know if it will pop.
What I miss: Sleeping on my tummy and sushi.
Milestones: None this week.
The baby attended his first of many Greek Festivals this weekend. Nick was playing in the band, as he usually does, and the baby and I enjoyed gyros and loukamades all weekend. He also attended his first wedding, as my college roommate got married!
Today’s Question: Is there anything else we can do to prepare for baby b without furniture??
